We can only provide services to a Bully breed if you sign a liability waiver (a requirement from our insurance company Profur (Intact Insurance), and your dog will be unable to join pack activities or Sleepovers.

1) Full cocktail and upkeep of vaccinations for all dogs.

  • Rabies (either annual or tri-annual)

  • DHPP (or any variation of Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus)

  • Bordetella (kennel cough)

The Coronavirus and Leptospirosis are not required but if your dog is able to receive these vaccinations, we highly recommend them. We also HIGHLY recommend the Lyme Vaccination.

2) Dogs over eight months of age MUST be sterilised to join pack services.

If your adult dog is not sterilised, they must fly solo on their services and will not be eligible for Daycare, Pack Blockwalks or Sleepovers.

We absolutely recommend sterilising all dogs before 8 months. Yes, even large breeds.

Dogs who are not sterilised are only eligible for services outside of peak hours. These hours can vary based on your area.

Unsterilised dogs are also not covered under our insurance policy and you will have to sign a liability waiver to retain us as your dog walking service.

3) We have a minimum requirement of one service per week in order to begin and retain our services. If there is a break in service for 21 days or more, there is a $35 re-activation fee.

4) If your dog is one of the breeds listed in the very discriminatory DOLA:

  • A pit bull terrier

  • A Staffordshire bull terrier

  • An American Staffordshire terrier

  • An American pit bull terrier

  • A dog that has an appearance and physical characteristics substantially similar to any of those dogs.

Although Ottawa does not enforce the ban, and we personally are against it, we must comply with provincial laws to remain insured, and this likely is the case for every dog walking company in Ontario who is with Profur.

*Meet & Grrreets are required before we can commit to care.*
