Full Service Pet Care.

Our Staycation service includes a notification when we check in so you know when we’ve arrived at your home.

You’ll get updated twice a day with a mix of photos, videos, and written summaries of your pet’s activities, so you can relax poolside, worry-free.

We’ll water your plants (if you need us to), pick up your mail, and make sure your garbage and recycling goes out on time. We can keep vet and/or grooming appointments that you have scheduled and ensure your home is exactly as you left it.

How does it work?

You fill out the form and we’ll get back to you to let you know which bwd Pet Sitter is available for your specific needs. It’s really that easy. You do not have to be an existing customer to enquire about booking a bwd Pet Sitter.

At bwd Petcare, we’re commercially insured to protect your pet(s) and your home, and all of our employees are criminally background checked.

Your bwd Pet Sitter will take care of the basics like morning and evening pees, feeding, basic medication administration, and cuddles. You can optionally book extra daytime activity if you want!

Every Staycation includes twice daily updates so you never have to worry. The first update is sent in the morning after breakfast and a second update is sent in the evening after dinner. Updates can include photos, videos, and always a written summary of your pet’s activities.

A 50% deposit is required to secure your Staycation Pet Sitter.

Detached/Semi-Detached housing: Outdoor lockboxes or front door keypads.
Apartment buildings: Buzz codes for entry and a lockbox on your apartment door (those velcro command strips work really well to hold them up with no damage).
It’s your house.
We do require that devices used to stream video are not given access to private areas such as bedrooms and bathrooms for the safety and protection of our staff.
We do need to pick up groceries and check on our own pets/spouses/kids at our own homes and sometimes walk a dog or two, but yes, we effectively live with your pet for the duration of their Staycation.
We don’t permit shared responsibility of your pet’s care while you are out of town. Not only does this increase the likelihood of errors, e.g., that animals may be overfed, or overmedicated, this also is a liability issue and may create an unsafe environment for our staff.
You can continue to have other home services as long as we do not have to grant entry to third parties and we are made aware of their schedules.
We do not provide this service for individuals in a shared living space situation for safety reasons. Consider booking our Blockwalks or Pussy Patrol instead! To get started with that you can book a no obligation Meet & Greet.
We accept booking requests up to two months in advance for all customers. If your request is further than two calendar months out, we can add you to a waitlist and when your dates open for booking we will start working our way down the list confirming who wants the dates.
Yes.
We require access to a private parking space for the duration of you Staycation. This can be private parking like a driveway or a paid lot. We will not accept time limited street paid or unpaid parking on a Staycation.
